Sophrology, developed in the 1960s by Colombian psychiatrist Dr. Alfonso Caycedo, represents a harmonious synthesis of Eastern meditation techniques, yoga, and Western relaxation. This unique approach aims to provide you with a better understanding of yourself, your abilities, and your potential. By embracing sophrology, you will learn to face daily challenges with serenity and calmness.

Sessions include verbal exchange, exercises combining gentle movements and breathing, as well as guided “sophronization,” a visualization conducive to deep relaxation and mobilization of your own resources. I also enjoy offering this approach in schools to help teachers and students rediscover the path to well-being and self-confidence.


This activity caters to a wide audience, from children to seniors, and offers the flexibility to take place either at home or via video conference. Before each session, a preliminary phone interview helps identify your expectations. The single relaxation session is tailored to specific needs such as stress management. Dynamic sophrology exercises, including standing movements, are followed by meditation with guided visualizations.

For ongoing support across multiple sessions, a proposal between 8 and 12 sessions is established, providing an adjustable initial framework tailored to the patient’s needs. The goal is to define a specific objective, ensuring significant progress in addressing the issue.
